I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and great for kids, but our room wasn't ready when we arrived. The service was a bit chaotic with delays, but the staff tried their best to make up for it. The location was convenient for local restaurants but disrupted by a loud wedding event. The dining was decent with a good selection but a bit slow. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel rooms were amazing, the restaurant food was very good, and the bed was comfortable. It's a great place to go for a relaxing weekend getaway. However, there were some issues like the room not being ready upon arrival at 3 o'clock, offering no compensation for the inconvenience, and the mini-bar containing used items from previous guests even after multiple notifications. The bathroom had a dirty towel, and the initial musty smell was off-putting. The reception was unorganized, and the key card malfunctioned, locking us out of the room.
Our stay had its ups and downs. The hotel rooms were quite large and recently refurbished, but we encountered some issues like having two smaller beds instead of one large one, the non-functioning air conditioning, and tiles coming up underneath the desk. Room service also missed our order, and waiting 40 minutes for just two milkshakes was a bit much. On the bright side, we appreciated the late checkout and the convenience of a golf buggy drop-off at our room, especially welcomed after arriving in a storm. The location was beautiful, with lush green surroundings and easy access to Sanctuary Cove shops. However, it was a bit of a walk from our car and not the easiest to find.
